Every now and then my wife and I get in the mood for some good Asian food, in which this Beef & Broccoli stir fry on the Blackstone Griddle doesn’t disappoint. From the corn starch thickening up the sauce, to the soy sauce & spices, this Beef & Broccoli recipe will surely not disappoint!

Beef & Broccoli Stir Fry Ingredients

Beef Marinade

  • 2 Tablespoons – Cornstarch
  • 3 Tablespoons – Water
  • 1 lb – Flank Steak (other steaks can suffice)

Beef & Broccoli Sauce

  • 1 Tablespoon – Cornstarch
  • 1 Tablespoon – Minced Garlic
  • 3 Tablespoons – Light Brown Sugar
  • 2 teaspoons – Ginger
  • 1/4 Cup – Low Sodium Soy Sauce

Remaining Beef & Broccoli Ingredients

  • 4 Cups – Broccoli Florets (more or less depending on your preferred ratios)
  • 1 Cup – Yellow Onion, Sliced (Optional)
  • Cooked White Rice, preferred

How to Make Beef & Broccoli Stir Fry on the Blackstone

Start out by cutting the meat into thin 1″ inch pieces. In a zip lock back, or bowl, add the cornstarch and water. Mix them together well.

Add the meat and mix it together. Set the meat aside in the fridge.

In a bowl, add the Soy Sauce, Light Brown Sugar, Minced Garlic and Ginger. Mix the sauce together well.

Fire up the Blackstone Griddle and get it heated up. I prefer to cook this recipe on a medium/high heat level. Start out cooking the meat on one side with the broccoli on the other ensuring to use some extra virgin olive oil. Once the broccoli is tender and the meat is cooked, combing the two together on the Blackstone.

Slowly add the sauce while mixing all the ingredients together. This should only take a few seconds so the sauce doesn’t get burnt, but you want it on long enough to allow the corn starch to thicken. Remove, place on a bed of rice and enjoy!

Instructions

  1. Cut the meat into thin 1" strips. In a zip-lock bag or bowl combine the cornstarch and water. Mix together well. Add the meat and mix it in. Place in the fridge until you are ready to cook.
  2. Make the sauce by mixing together the soy sauce, light brown sugar, minced garlic and ginger. Set aside.
  3. Get the Blackstone Griddle fired up on a med/high temperature. Cook the broccoli on one side of the griddle with the raw meat on the other. Once the broccoli is tender and the meat is cooked, combine them together. Mix in the sauce, remove and serve over some cooked white rice.
