How to Prepare the Bourbon Chicken

Once the chicken has marinated for 10-15 minutes, mix in the corn starch. The chicken is ready for the Blackstone.
How to Prepare the Bourbon Sauce
In a mixing bowl, add the water, ground black pepper, bourbon, rice vinegar, sesame oil, soy sauce, light brown sugar and extra virgin olive oil. Mix together well and the bourbon sauce is ready to go.
How to Cook the Bourbon Chicken on the Blackstone Griddle
Get a decent amount of extra virgin olive oil on each side of the griddle. On one side of the black stone add the chicken and the other the diced onion.
Once the onions are sauteed, add the minced garlic and mix it in. Once complete, turn that side of the griddle’s heat down if the chicken isn’t done yet.
Cook the chicken until the internal temperature is 165 degrees.
Once the chicken is cooked to the minimum internal temperature combine it with the sauteed garlic onions.
Pour the bourbon sauce over the top of the chicken. In doing this step be ready to continuously keep mixing until the bourbon chicken is thickened to your liking (roughly 2 mins depending on how hot the Blackstone is).
Remove from the Blackstone, serve over some white rice and enjoy!
