For anyone that knows me, they know I love burgers. These chopped cheeseburgers on a hoagie bun are another awesome variation, especially on the Blackstone.

When it comes to cheeseburgers, my secret spice is usually always Cow Lick by Dizzy Pig. It just really sets the burger off and apart from any other regular burger out there.

Chopped Cheeseburgers on a Hoagie Bun Ingredients

  • 1 lb – Ground Beef
  • 1/2 – Onion, Diced
  • Sliced Cheese
  • Cow Lick seasoning by Dizzy Pig (or your favorite burger seasoning)
  • Lettuce (Optional)
  • Tomato (Optional
  • Hoagie Buns

How to Make Chopped Cheeseburgers on a Hoagie Bun

Start out by firing the Blackstone Griddle at medium – medium high heat. Mix the onion into the meat and brown it. Also, add the Cow Lick seasoning by Dizzy Pig.

Continue to cook the meat until it is browned.

As the meat is nearing completion. Open up the hoagie buns and place them face down on the Blackstone to give them a nice brown toasted color.

Once the hoagie buns are complete, separate the meat into three elongated piles. Add the cheese.

Allow the cheese to melt and then scoop onto the hoagie bun to complete the chopped cheeseburgers on a hoagie bun. Top with your favorite ingredients like lettuce, tomato, ketchup, mayo, jalapeno’s…and enjoy!
